I just had 2 cars repoed and got approved! The interest was high but its because of my credit. The was a short under 4 years and I got a 2 year warranty. So all in all i'm happy its s great way to rebuild my credit.

I bought my car in December, shortly after I had an issue with what I believed to be the transmission. I brough tmy car back to J. D. byrider in *** and they kept my car for 2-3 days to figure out what was going on. During these 2-3 days they refused to give me a loaner car to get to work even though I had just purchased the car. They accused me of driving with both of my feet, and claimed to have fixed a sensor. I have been having issues with how my car drives ever since, I brought my car to J.D. again in July and again they accused me of driving with bith feet and said they would need to keep my car for a few days to "figure" out the problem. I took my car to another mechanic and he says that my transmission is indeed slipping.

When *** brought her vehicle to us in December we simply could not get the car to duplicate the issues she has experienced. Although no one likes to hear this sometimes unfortunately it has get a little more consistent for us to be able to better diagnose the problem. When *** brought her car back a second time in July we still could not find an issue with the car. We have had multiple technicians drive her vehicle along with the Service manager. During her visit we did assure her that she has plenty of warranty and we did make a notation in the system her regarding her concerns. We also found a sensor that needed replacing and preformed that service. Unfortunately we do not have a loaner or rental program and it is well posted, discussed and documented on her paperwork when she purchased her vehicle with us.Sometimes during a diagnosis many questions may be asked by the service department to help identify the problem. Now we never want to offend anyone however, we sometimes have to ask questions that could seem like driver error but in reality it’s just another tool for us to properly help solve a problem and we truly apologize for any misunderstandings. We fully understand that there can be some frustration with a used vehicle and we never want any of our amazing customers to feel mistreated or unhappy we always strive to keep everyone satisfied. At this point we are still working with

They sell junk cars for well over what they’re worth and the APR is ridiculously high. They just care about sales numbers and their commission. Worst stealership to ever get a car from no matter what location. Do not ever buy a car from these places.

We have been having issues with the visors falling constantly and the clutch has been goung for at least 5 months. I took it in around may and complained about clutch problems. They claimed they looked at it and that it was actually brand new. Now several months later its even worse almost undriveable and my husband took it in and they didca diagnostics on it and said the clutch is GONE and needs to be replaced and its "not under warranty!" Also the visors have been falling since a couple months after purchasing it abd they "fixed it" twice and not the right way and its still happening. They told my husband itcwas going to cost about $135 to fix them. Our mechanic friend said it would only costvabout $20 to fix it. I feel they wronged us and need to fix it. I'm missing work due to he car issues and the manager claims With *** and *** theres no reason to miss work but he wouldn't offer to pay for it.

We are extremely empathetic on *** situation however, We have repeatedly tried to look at the vehicle after the first time she brought the car in and we were unable to find an issue. We need to give another diagnose the vehicle witch is the first step before any repair gets made. We have spoke to *** a couple of times regarding her problem with the clutch and she has repeatedly failed to leave the vehicle for us to service. She did bring the car in a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday but she did not leave it. We would be more than happy to work something out with *** we just simply need the opportunity. For the visors she was quoted for a replacement pair. If she can find out what her mechanic said regarding a fix for $20.00 we would be more than happy to try that to fix that problem. We look forward to helping ***.

By far one of the worst places to get a car. They are rude and harassing .they will call you after 9 am on the day your payment is due and through out the day. their buy out price is the same as what you owe them they refuse to make a deal go lower knowing that it's unfair practice but they don't care . You would do best to save and buy a car or go somewhere elace . By no means buy a car from them!!!!!!!!

Back in 2015 I financed a car from JD Byrider. A 2007 *** G6. Every two weeks I would pay 171 and change. This coming here February 26th of 2018 purchase a new vehicle. I have purchased 2014 *** Traverse from the *** dealership in Dartmouth Massachusetts. The *** dealership in Dartmouth paid the rest of my car loan that I had at JD Byrider. They called JD Byrider February 27th to let them know that they have the 2007 *** G6 as a payoff in trade in and *** wanted to know how much they needed to pay. On March 9th JD Byrider took a car payment out of our checking account. The *** G6 was not our vehicle anymore. When I called JD Byrider multiple times I spoke with a secretary named ***. She gave me information that was not true she felt to buy a lot of things to put the blame on the *** dealership. The last time when I called to ask her if she could email me a copy of the check that the *** dealership sent to JD Byrider for the payoff she could not do that. I asked the same thing to the *** dealership and they did it right away. With a lot of help from the business manager at the *** dealership in Dartmouth Massachusetts we come to the conclusion that it was JD Byrider fault that the money was taken out of our account when the car was no longer hours. I spoke to *** who works with *** a bank from JD Byrider and he said that he does apologize and he will refund our money. However he said he was refunding $153. We had $171 taking out of our checking account. *** blamed it on extra interest which is completely fine because that's what we've been paying all along however we did not have a vehicle to pay interest on on March 9th we did not have that *** G6 anymore. So I felt that the full $171 should be back in our account. I understand about interests however I have not missed a payment since I finance this vehicle I've been a great customer to JD Byrider and this is the thanks that I get by not putting back what was taking out of my bank account. I know it's a very small amount of money but it's still the fact that that was our hardworking money and they took that away for a car that was not no longer hours. And the lies that were told by the secretary to try to keep JD Byrider from getting into trouble we're just uncalled for. I would prefer to be told the truth especially about my hardworking money. We literally spent a week going back and forth to JD Byrider and to the *** dealership in Dartmouth Massachusetts to figure out we had to Be Your Own Boss because JD Byrider would have never willingly admit that they have extra money of hours.

J.D. Byrider - South Attleboro Response • May 17, 2018

Our establishment strives on keeping our customers satisfied and we respond promptly to any complaint received, however, we did not receive this complaint. We would have responded immediately upon receiving the complaint online. Mr. had notified our bank when he traded in the vehicle mentioned in his complaint and we informed him that he is responsible for making the payments on his financed vehicle until the dealership which whom he traded the vehicle in pays off his current loan. We follow the same guidelines for everyone. The vehicle he financed with *** is a simple interest loan and the interest accrues daily. His payment was set up for automatic payments of 171.38 was taken out on March 9, 2018. The payoff from the dealership was received on March 20, 2018 and no further payments were taken from his bank account. Once the check had cleared we immediately refunded Mr. the over payment from the dealership from which he traded the vehicle in, which was 156.58 on March 27, 2018. We hope this clears this matter up. We are not quite sure why Mr. is upset, as this is standard procedure and applies to any vehicle loan payoff. Mr. was a valued customer and we wish him the best of luck with his new vehicle.

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***.
I do apologize for the late response however I had a lot of issues with my internet and I wasn't able to open up and receive all of my emails until just the other day.(may 28th) I was able to read the answer from JD Byrider. I do you understand but unfortunately people that you deal with in business will be conniving an untrustworthy. I know they will also lie to give themselves a good name. However, my Focus is the fact that. If I'm February 26th of this year I traded in the 2007 *** G6 from JD Byrider and it was no longer in my possession nor even registered under my I am not sure why I would not get a full refund of the payment. Again, I do understand that there is interest but how could you charge a customer a good paying customer mind you, who's never missed one payment interest on a vehicle that was not in my possession anymore. They said that the mistake was on them and that they will refund me the money. However there was 171 taking out of my banking account. I don't care if there was interest or not they should be paying what was taking out of my banking account. I could see if I was an awful customer but I have Faithfully paid my car loan and never missed a payment. I don't deserve that. I respect the fact that jdbyrider owned up to the fact that was their mistake but to see a check that written out for a number lower than what was taken out of my account, that makes me very upset. If a company can take out 171 and not replace it when they owned up to the fact that it was their mistake and blame it on interest I think that's a horrible thing. Just like they charged interest well we can't pay interest on a vehicle that we didn't have so that interest should have been paid back to us on JD byriders part.

Seeing as JD Byrider didblame themselves, they said they would refund us which was perfectly fine. However like I have stayed in other messeges, I expected the full amountthat was taken out of my bank. Even though the check was a bit late, it wasstill written out for all they needed to pay off my loan plus the paymentwe gave which was not calculated prior to the check being sent. Thank youfor understanding and I would appreciate the remainder of the refund beingsent to me. Thank you very much.

Customer Response • Jul 10, 2018

I accepted it a couple weeks ago. I am not sure why it did not go through. I appreciate the fact that JDByrider accepted to pay the difference. I do not reside in Attleboro anymore so if you could kindly write it out to my home address that would be great. Thank you very much for your time.
