J&C Landscaping

Review: In 2012, I wanted to get my mother, who desperately needed help with her yard, a landscaping gift certificate. After Google searching landscaping companies in NJ, I came across J & C Landscaping, located in Jackson, NJ but who did landscaping work in the Mercer County area. I called the company and talked to [redacted], who is the owner of the company. He came out to my house, I gave him $100 for a gift certificate that was for $150 worth of landscaping work. When spring 2013 came and went and my mother was still left with a gift certificate/promise for landscaping work from J&C, she complained to [redacted]. He told her that after Memorial Day he would free up and be able to take care of her landscaping needs. Unfortunately, this was untrue so my mother decided she wanted a refund. I spoke to [redacted], he agreed on the refund. We decided to meet at a location near my house in June 2013. However, I was stuck at work late one night and wasn't able to meet him. I called him and told him that we would have to meet another time - that was the last time I ever spoke to him.I called [redacted] about 10-15 times between July & mid September, but received no response. I urge anyone to please reconsider using another landscaping company other than J&C Landscaping as they are unprofessional and lack the overall customer service.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the $100 that I paid to J&C Landscaping back in December 2012.
