Review: [redacted] dishwasher went out. Called JC Appliance...found number on web. He came out. Did not repair the unit. Called him out again and he said it needed a new part. Waited for part to come in. Finally came and he installed the part. Still did not work, so he said it was a different part. He ordered that. Waited a long time. I kept calling, but he never picked up his phone and never returned voice mail. On the rare occasion I got him on the phone, he said the part was on order. After three weeks of this, I realized that he never ordered the part.

In the interim, some unauthorized charges were made on my credit card. It was not the result of an internet hacking, as all of the purchases were generally local to the Baltimore/Washington area...most at merchants I never patronize. Fast food, cleaners, cash back, errands...like someone out on service calls and grabbing lunch and picking up cleaning while on call.

I called the [redacted] County Police regarding the unauthorized purchases in [redacted] County, MD. Filed a report.

I strongly suspect "Juan" from JC Appliances copped my credit card number and made a replica. He wouldn't answer my calls and never returned my voice mail. In short, he was avoiding me.

I am still out the money for the parts he ordered and his labor, which was nil. I really don't think he knows what he's doing.....total incompetence regarding the repair of my dishwasher.Desired Settlement: I would like a complete refund from "Juan" of JC Appliance Repair. The [redacted] Credit Union has already credited my account for the unauthorized purchases. I'm sure they will be looking into JC Appliance, as well.

Review: [redacted] contracted with these technicians who were supposed to repair our [redacted]-purchased dishwasher. After their first visit, JC Appliance promised that they would would call us to schedule a follow-up appointment in a week. A week went by and they never called. I repeatedly had to call JC Appliances to find out the status of our repair parts and to schedule follow-up appointments. After almost three weeks from the initial called, JC Appliances showed up far outside of their time window and did not give an adequate explanation for their lateness. When I expressed dissatisfaction with their poor level of service, the technician refused to service the dishwasher and left.
