JBN Mechanical - Heating, AC, Plumbing

Review: John M[redacted] came to my home for a simple AC filter replacement and request to open dampers to several rooms. I have a paper trail of emails for what followed next. Mr. M[redacted] informed me that I had a leaking coil in my attic unit that ultimately was not covered by warranty and I would have to pay over $2000.00 to fix. A quick call to [redacted] revealed that not only was the problem covered under warranty, I had an extended warranty. When I informed Mr. M[redacted] of the good news, he refused to 'fix' the problem. I then went to another provider, who, in the end, found no evidence of a problem. Mr. M[redacted] sent me a bill for $305.00 for which I refuse to pay. Now the other provider wants me to pay for services that should have never occurred in the first place, all because Mr. M[redacted] was dishonest and tried to fix something that was not broken. The system was evaluated by 3 different service technicians and no problem uncovered. I went weeks without air conditioning and my cancer stricken mother was subjected to unbearable conditions in my home while the problem was being resolved. My young daughter was also subjected to intolerable hot conditions because we were told the system was 'broken' during May.Desired Settlement: I want this case on record in case it escalates to something bigger. I have all the emails. Mr. M[redacted] should be asked to cover the costs from the other provider.
