Jay Gramlick Construction

I hired Jay Gramlick for a new kitchen and bathroom. Look at the pictures on Angi for proof. I noticed the crown on the cabinet was broken, and he insisted that he could color it in with a crayon and no one would ever know. He lied! Everyone who walks in my house asks how the cabinet was damaged in that spot. The stove sticks out 4 inches further than the countertop. The microwave was not set properly too and is sticking out. People comment on how far they stick out too. The hand hose in the tub sticks out because Jay didn't hook it up correctly and that also looks really bad. The Subs Jay used, particularly the electrical sub, were really good. It was the work Jay himself did that is subpar. He also hung folding doors in my basement leading to the laundry room, and they have fallen off since day 1. He lacks attention to detail and integrity. I would not recommend using him for any project. I am hoping to save one person from having the same experience. He was sued and lost in Court. he was ordered to pay $1,500 and he never paid. He is pathological liar.

[redacted] was paid more than he should have been and it didn't reflect in the work already done. He continued to demand more money,never consulted the home owners on what he was doing,shoddy workmanship in the first and second floors. Left bags of trash in the house and since the house has been broken...

into 4 times it"s a FIRE HAZARD. Walked off the job without letting the owners know. Because of him dragging this project out to a year has caused me excessive stress and I have to see Counseling because of it.  No lein to be placed on the our house,and no lawsuits.
