solar project has now been completed according to the agreed upon size, and we have reimbursed the customer for his solar payments that were to be made while we waited to get his system connected with the utility companyWe don’t make any promises regarding any rebates, and I think this may be mistaken for the federal tax credit that may be available to certain customersThank you
I am sorry to hear that the customer is not happy with the solar project that they purchasedA solar system will not push power back to your home or grid during an outage for the safety of any utility employee's who are working on the systemWe were not offering backup battery systems because of
the extremely high cost, additional labor, many problems with existing systems, and customer's misconceptions about how the battery systems workWe can see by the customer's comment that they knew that they weren't getting a backup battery systemOur notes show that customer's concerns were also resolved about this prior to signing the contractWe are sorry to hear that you have had trouble with getting through to anyone via phoneI am told we have only received the one message that was returned just recentlyWe still do not offer any backup battery systems and won't be able to help the customer with getting one installedWe suggest they reach out to a solar company who specializes in backup battery systems to help them accomplish thisWe can see that the customer's system is working great and much better than it was designed to produceThe most recent year their system has produced 1,636kWh more than it was estimated toI hope this has helped to answer and questions or concerns that the customers has. everything is set up and wired correctly with the meterThe correct meter was used and installed correctlyOur tech department has looked into the system via online monitoring, and they have verified that the system is producing and working as plannedWe will reach out to the customer to see if there are any other issues or concerns that we can help them with. I am rejecting this response because: We have asked several times who we need to speak in regards to the matter and were provided a name and number to call from ClearThey emailed me back stating with the original proposal given to us showing the lower amount monthly payments of $115, but they still have failed to provide me a name and number for the finance company to speak in regards to this matter

Complaint *** I apologize to hear that the customer is having issues with his systemOur notes show that we sent out a technician 1/10/to make sure everything was working correctly on his solar systemI will reach out to our tech team and inform them that there may still be
potential problemsThey will reach out to the customer to help resolve any issues as soon as possibleFor the power bill issue, we don’t control the customer’s energy usage or billingWe can’t guarantee, and don’t make any promises in our contract about a set payment that the customer will pay to their utility company because of having a solar systemThe proposal that was signed and accepted by the customer also states, “This proposal is an estimate and does not guarantee actual system production or savingsThe system design may change based on a detail engineering site auditActual system production and savings will vary based on the final system size, design, configuration, utility rates, applicable rebates, your ability to realize tax benefits, and your family’s energy usage.” We wish to address all customer concerns and hope to resolve these issues with the customer. because:Yes, Dave S[redacted] from Southam Associates, and also President of Solar Installations, did come unannounced while both myself and my husband was at work. While I do work from home, I have a boss, and metrics I must meet daily. I do not have a great amount of flexibility to just take off from work. But I met with him. My husband also left work early in order to meet with him. Dave and his associate only had a few hours and could not wait until we were both off work due to a flight he had to make. He made some promises, even though he admitted that he was not licensed in solar nor any part of clear solar licensed in AZ, To either to have it finished or to have it removed. Whatever it takes for us to be happy. If removed he said he would give us money to fix the roof. We did not make any commitments either way. My husband emailed him later, and said yes, we would like enough money to fix the roof, and for us for our missed work and hassle we have gone through. Dave said he was out of the office, and had to wait until he was back to do any negotiations on Jan 29th. By February 1st, we had not heard, so I called Dave S[redacted] on the phone. He clearly told me that Clear Solar rejected our terms, and that he was not part of Clear Solar and had no authority or pull to "make them do it." or even negotiate. As far as Clear Solar we have not heard from Clear Solar since December, and since Dave S[redacted] told me over the phone he is not part of Clear Solar, he is not on the contract, Southam Associates is not on the contract. Nor is Solar Installations on the contract, I still assert I had not heard from Clear Solar. That is until yesterday morning. A Devon called while I was at work. I explained we had not talked to anyone in a long time, however I was at work, I was in a very important meeting I could not miss, TO please call me after 5 when I got off. He never called back. Just like when Talon agreed to have me called every Monday Morning before work, I never got those calls either. I have heard a lot of promises from the time we signed up in May. The problem comes with the failure to follow through. This is a quote from an Email sent from Talon on Dec 13th when asked for a face to face meeting because my husband is legally deaf and can not talk over the phone. I completely understand. I will see what I can do. We have pulled out of Arizona because of the issues that you and others went through with our lack of service. So our senior leadership team are all in Utah and I do not know when we would be able to make the trip down there. However, Can we do a skype or Online version? Again that is what I am referring to, when you say you had problems with Preventive Solar. I am saying none of the problems were fixed when you took it back from them. The customer service has been atrocious continuing on even in the past few weeks. It has now been 4 months since the panels were placed still nonfunctioning and incomplete. There has been no progress forward or backward. I hear promises, but I have caught them in lies, and there is not anything they can say that I will believe without proof. Their promises are just empty promises, dreams that wont come true. The only time I have heard from clear Solar is when I have made complaints, they try to throw out a few crumbs and a few more empty promises to buy more time, then stop communication until I complain again. I am just tired of the whole situation and wish I had never gotten involved with solar or this company. [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:I just got back from vacation and see that I missed my 7 day window. Can you please re-open this complaint so I can respond? This company is playing "ignorant" and is not responding to my requests for help. They have told me they would pay for the electric bills. Why would someone put enough solar panels on their home to eliminate electric bills, and then expect to continue paying electric bills??? The company response if completely lame and in character with the way they have told me one thing and done another. Please reopen this complaint and let me respond. Thank you!

We haven't received any calls or voicemails from this customer in the recent months. We will reach out to her and make sure she has our correct contact number. The system was installed correctly and according to design. After the installation the system is also inspected by the city to verify...
everything was done correctly. I have attached a copy of the inspection showing that it passed. Thanks
