I believe there was January 2019 that I had a discussion with *** Syracuse about $6,400 for a restitution and 2 release this office from any future claims. April XX XXXX per my discussion with *** I was told that they were going to pay for a cruise. I was told by *** that he would talk to Joe Jansen about giving me $6,400 for restitution for my case. I received a check from go janssen for $1,200 for a cruise and to release this office from any future claims. I sent the check back, stating that $1,200 would not purchase a cruise my flight from Nashville to Florida alone is over $500 and I have never taken a cruise which cost under $2,500. Mr. Jansen then refused to speak to me or to try to rectify this problem. I lost my case I believe because mr. Jansen who I've never met who took my case and worked with ***. each time I talked to *** he would tell me one thing, and then Joe Jansen would tell me something completely different. I did not believe that my case was handled the way it should have been and just at this time I really do not want to go back into court. I just want my money for cruise like they promised
Billing Adjustment To resolve this problem and avoid any other court action I would like the amount for a cruise as promised, at reasonable price the cruises that I have been on in the past.

Our former client, ***, slipped and fell on a Carnival cruise ship. She retained our firm to seek compensation for her injuries from Carnival. The Judge dismissed her case based on her testimony that she could not recall where she fell on the ship, and by her own account saw and was aware of the wet floor being mopped - before walking through the wet floor and slipping.
Although we were under no obligation to do so, we sent her $1,200 towards a new cruise. She returned the check and has instead that we pay her 6,400. Again, our firm is under no obligation to pay for a new cruise.
