May 4, 2015,To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to you in regards to a complaint filed (#ID [redacted]) by a client of ours, [redacted]. I have enclosed a copy of the agreement letter for work on a home renovation between [redacted] and Jannsen Design. The client was delinquent on the...
third payment by 6 weeks and when we discussed this with her she showed no urgency or need to pay the amounts past due. After several requests for payment she asked if she could make payments by credit card so we accommodated her by offering the use of a [redacted] account. She still did not pay the third installment laid out in the agreement. At that time 90% of the work was complete and we had only received 55% payment.Eventually, she paid the third payment of $2,000 which left a balance of $1,410. With only $400 worth of work left to be finished, I told her that I would need the remaining payment before resuming the project because of her previous delinquency. I have since not heard from her.
I have since removed the $400 of work off of the contract and am requesting that she pay the due balance of work completed which is $1,040.
Thank you,Neil J
