Review: Late 2012 I received dental services for myself and my two sons from [redacted]'s office in Rancho Bernardo. There were billing problems which were ultimately resolved through an email exchange with the then Office Manager [redacted] on 11/28/12. In this email, which I still have an original electronic version of, the Office Manager assured me that the erroneous amount of $99.20 would be removed from my account and that I would stop receiving statements from them trying to collect it.
Then this Office Manager stopped working for [redacted], and he continued to have a high-turnover of Office Managers, none of which could figure out how to read [redacted]'s email, and proceed with the promise that [redacted] made, which was that the erroneous amount would be removed. To date, I am still receiving these statements.
Again, I have the original email from [redacted] stating the $99.20 balance would be removed from my account.
Mr. [redacted]'s failure to keep an Office Manager for any reasonable amount of time and his failure to conduct accurate billing practices is a huge red flag for dental patients. Not only do I question how many patients have received and paid erroneous bills from [redacted], but I also wonder how much longer I will have to receive statements for an amount that I never owed.Desired Settlement: I would like [redacted] to update his billing records himself to ensure this problem does not continue. I do not owe the business and I do not want to receive any more statements. I will provide proof of the Office Manager's email upon request.

Review: At my last dental cleaning, my dentist recommended an elective dental procedure to correct my teeth grinding. I asked if it was covered by insurance, and how much I would have to pay. I was told insurance would pay for it and that I would be expected to pay a remaining cost of $200-$300. I considered this an acceptable price and the procedure was performed. On the way out, I was billed for ~$245. As this is what I expected to pay, I was happy to pay the fee. I paid and left.
Now, I'm being told there is an additional $309 fee. I do not take issue with the initial fee that was quoted and that I paid, however I feel this additional, unexpected fee well after the fact is unacceptable.
I have called and spoken to two individuals at the office. They were both unable to waive or reduce the additional cost.Desired Settlement: I want the extra $309 fee waived.

Response:
I filed a complaint recently with Dr. [redacted]. This dispute has
been resolved, with assistance from the Revdex.com. I can't find anything on
the website with regards to what to do next?
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
Regards,
