Review: We paid this man to do our taxes. He spent 15 minutes to collect information, collected the $160 dollar fee and a couple weeks later when we realized their was an error, which effected our refund, did not return our phone calls. He has not amended our taxes after numerous phone call attempts, and now when I call him his voice mail is full. We were not given our full refund by the IRS and are being audited by NYS. If I had done my own taxes, I would not be out the $160 fee and take care of the audit on my own (as I have been forced to do)Desired Settlement: I would like this matter to be resolved, and possibly a partial refund. I could have easily done our own taxes. The only reason I hired an accountant is so if problems arise, he can assist in taking care of them.He need to file the amendment, and return our phone calls. I feel as if he took our money for the part of his services that we did not need him for and the reason we hired him for, he has not taken care of.
