Amyot Roofing installed our roof in I called them to get a general inspection done of the roof and to get a quote on this work They did provide a quote over the phone of $plus HST for an inspection and minor regular maintenance work and someone then came out to do a visual inspection After consideration of this visual inspection, I phoned the next morning to say that I did not wish to proceed with the servicing at this time I was told that I would be invoiced $plus HST for the visual inspection provided I was not informed at the time of asking for a quote on inspection of roof and any minor regular maintenance work provided that if I did not proceed with the full inspection and work that I would be charged for a visual quote I will pay their bill, but I would strongly suggest any other customer interested in getting a quote from this Company that they get something in writing first to what they are agreeing to I will not be using this Company again for any further work and do not recommend this Company to any other potential customers In my dealings with other Companies for any type of work, usually they do not charge for a quote for potential work I am truly disappointed with Amyot Roofing for not providing free quotes to their customers PB***
