Review: On or about 12 February, 2013, I made payment for a complete bumper bar system (front and rear) to [redacted] of Jaguar By [redacted]. The parts were to be sent to a shipping company in Paramount CA to accompany a car Id purchase to Australia. Initially the wrong parts were supplied by [redacted], and by the time the correct parts were received in Paramount, they had missed being shipped with the car and had to wait for another container being shipped to Australia.[redacted]s advertises a 30 day money back guarantee, and under the Return Policy of his eBay advertisement, it states a money back refund will be made for Manufacturing Defects if the seller is contacted within 14 days after receiving the item. I eventually received the parts on 01 July 2013 and the copy of the attached Shipping Company's Gate Pass I received when the consignment was picked up, verifies when the parts were delivered to me. I attempted to assemble the Bumper Bars two days later, and found that the manufacturing quality was so poor; the parts could not be assembled. I contacted Mr [redacted] on the same day as Id determined the product defects, on 03 July 2013, well within the money back guarantee period stated in Mr. [redacted]s advertisement.Mr. [redacted] initially refused to do anything about my complaint and then offered a replacement on the basis that I pay to have the faulty part returned to him and for the cost of shipping a replacement to me. The cost of shipping both ways makes this resolve financially impractical given the Australian destination, and because of the extremely poor quality of the parts I received, I have no confidence that any replacement would be any better.
