Review: One of our commercial vehicles was towed and brought to Jacob Recovery on July *, 2013. They charged us $125.00 to get it out of impound. The same type of commercial vehicle was towed today, November **, 2013. When we called Jacob Recovery to see what the charge was, they very rudely said that all systems and credit card machines were down and that we needed to bring $408.00 CASH in order to get our vehicle out of impound. We sent one of our guys with the money, he paid and got the truck. We then received an anonymous call from someone who was also in the place of business at the same time our guy was there and he informed us that Jacob Recovery just scammed us into paying more money for a service that should've cost us $100 or so max. Upon pulling the July invoice and comparing with today's invoice he was right. Jacob Recovery charged us $283.00 more for the same exact service performed 2 months prior. When we called them up to give them the oppurtunity to resolve the issue instead of reporting them, they were extremely rude and verbatim said they "didn't care" and told us to "do what you have to do" and hung up on us.Desired Settlement: I have both receipts as proof that they clearly overcharged. I would like for them to refund the difference of $283.00.
