In response to customers complaint, we at Jackson Ford have been in constant pursuit to resolve this matter We have documentation from our attempts to acquire a duplicate title from the state of California with no success After three attempts of our staff here we decided to seek help through Manheim in Denver Colorado where we purchased the vehicle from Manheim in Denver Colorado has made two attempts and were also unsuccessful in acquiring a duplicate title from the state of California Once paperwork is sent to California it takes them approximately two months to respond each time In an effort to try and resolve this matter more efficiently we enlisted the aide from a title clerk at one of our sister stores that has twenty plus years experience and is used to dealing with out of state problem titles Rita, title clerk, has already been in contact with the Illinois Secretary of State yesterday afternoon and will be driving to Springfield on Tuesday October 10th, with the paperwork and copy of the California title with the assurance by the Secretary of State agent she is working with that they will make every attempt to process this paperwork off the copy of the title Jackson Ford has made every attempt to keep the lienholder Land of Lincoln Credit Union in the communication loop and they are understanding of the situation
