Review: I was told by Jackson Creek that I would have a second surgery at no cost I even have this in writing on the medical records. And now they're trying to charge me.Desired Settlement: I would like them to refund the money for that surgery.

On December 2, 2015 [redacted] brought her dog Monkey in for a recheck exam. At that time, the doctor on duty informed her that Monkey needed to have another exploratory surgery. She was also informed that the doctor actually performing the surgery had agreed to donate her time and would not charge for the surgical procedure. All ancillary charges associated with the surgery would still apply and Ms. [redacted] would be responsible for those charges. Our invoice #[redacted] in the amount of $793.50 shows that the Exploratory/Intestinal Anastomosis surgery was at no charge. Our invoice #[redacted] also shoes that a balance due of $293.50. This is the balance remaining after a credit of $500.00 was applied. This credit reflects a donation form the Calaveras County Humane Society to assist Ms. [redacted] in paying for medical care for her pet. The invoices reflect that the appropriate credit was applied leaving a remaining balance of $293.50 owing on Ms. [redacted]’s account. We hope this clears up the matter.
