I purchased a *** & *** standby generator from Lowe's. Lowe's contracted with Vallery Electric to install the generator. It failed.
I purchased a whole house generator from Lowe's of Ruston. The generator was made by *** & *** and was sold by Lowe's of Ruston at *** Dr, Ruston, Louisiana. Lowes contracted with Vallery Electric to do the installation. The contract was signed on June 28, 2016. The generator was installed approximately 6 weeks later. The generator worked well for approximately 18 months. Then a control board failed. *** first diagnosis was incorrect in that he thought the battery had failed. After replacing the battery, the generator started by soon failed again. At that time *** diagnosed the problem correctly and indicated he would obtain a replacement board from *** & *** Since approximately June of 2018, I have not been able to get Mr. Vallery to respond to my phone calls. Since my contract was with Lowe's, I then contacted Lowe's in Ruston for resolution. I was given a case number and told to contact *** & *** at (XXX) XXX-XXXX. The case number was given as XXXXXX. After contacting *** & *** I was given another number XXXXXXXXXXX described as a *** and told my complaint had been elevated to a product specialist. I was requested to provide the standby generator serial number. I did so on Feb 12, 2018. I have not received additional updates since the. I have attempted to contact *** and *** via email on Feb 20, 2019 and March 23, 2019 I have not received a response
