Prior to scheduling services at the Associates in Dentistry - Bartonville in June 2017, I contacted the office to ensure that my insurance would cover the services and I would not be billed I was informed that my insurance would cover the cost of the initial exam and the cleaning To my surprise, I received a bill for services rendered of $ I contacted the office on multiple occasions in an attempt to get this corrected but was informed that multiple different people have worked the front desk as of lately and they were not sure with whom I spoke Ultimately, that I would be responsible for a bill despite the fact that I was told that my insurance would cover the cost of the exam and cleaning in full If I have insurance and pay my premiums monthly, why would I go to a dentist that is not covered under my plan? This does not make any sense unless I was informed by the scheduling personnel that my exam and cleaning was fully covered
