I took in a watch from Mr. [redacted]  for watch battery. Due to the type of watch I was unable to do the work.  So I told Mr, [redacted] I had to send it to my watchmaker.  He approved that.  From there...

it turned into a perfect storm of delay service.  My watchmaker went on a short trip and got sick and was out for almost two weeks.  When he finally got Mr. [redacted]s watch done it was over 3 weeks  plus.  There is no question I dropped the ball on this due to circumstances out of my control   WE of course did not charge Mr. [redacted] any Money   .  Things happen in any business.  I tried to explain to Mr. [redacted] the situation.  Obviously he is upset.  I have sent him an email offering him a 50 dollar gift certificate with no expiration  date to make up for his dissatisfaction. As always I am concerned about my customers satisfaction  in all transaction  whether big or small   Thank You   Jay G[redacted]   ###-###-####

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11822838, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
