Review: I ordered and paid for a pair of custom Lucchese boots on February 19, 2013 with the understanding that I would get a progress update within a month and delivery in early May. No progress update was forthcoming, and I had to keep calling the store. The response was always courteous and responsive, but nothing happened. By the latter part of June, I requested that the order be cancelled (if it were ever made) and a credit posted to my credit card account. He said he would do it immediately, but after several phone calls, it has not yet been done. I paid $870.00 for the boots after a $50.00 discount, and would like to have this credited to my checking account as soon as possible.Desired Settlement: Credit $870.00 to my credit card account immediately.

Response:

We apologized to Mrs. [redacted] for the boot not passing the inspection at Lucchese and informed her that her boot was going to be remade.

She had been waiting since February and the usual lead time on handmade boots is 60-90 days and it is stated on her receipt with "120 days lead time on special orders"

When Mrs. [redacted] called and wanted to cancel her order, we took down her credit card information and we issued the credit.

Due to the 4th of July we were closed and banks were closed so I did inform Mrs. [redacted] that it would take 7-10 business days for the credit to appear on her credit card statement.

She called on Monday July, 8th and I reassured her that the credit was done and she should see it that week.

We refunded $920 to her MC ending in [redacted] Invoice #1
