All projects are warranted for one year, I'm sorry but he is out of warranty

I requested a letter stating what they are saying that I'm owing. They also refused a certified debt & validation letter on 4/8/2013.
My job checks my credit every five years. They told me that on my credit report, this company is saying that I owe them $1,000 something dollars. The account number wasn't listed. I contacted this company by phone on 2/27/2013 and inquired about this. They stated that it was for a credit card. I stated that I never owned this type of credit card(Providian). I asked them to mail me something with their company name and with the alleged debt amount that I owed. On 3/26/2013 I contacted them again saying that I haven't received the letter I requested. A very rude employee told me that they aren't going to send any letter to me and that I need to pay my bill. He also refused to give me his name. On 4/3/2013, I mailed this company a debt dispute/validation letter via USPS certified mail with return receipt. On 4/8/2013, I checked the tracking number on the certified letter and it stated that the company refused to accept the letter.
