On Friday, 07/06/2012 I, [redacted], broke down while riding a motorcycle. I towed the motorcycle to JB Cycle Service. I called and spoke to repair shop owner Jim Black and told him I was having the motorcycle towed to his establishment. Once we arrived, I spoke to Jim about the problem I was having with the motorcycle. The motorcycle would rev, but would not accelerate. Jim had me speak to Adam, a mechanic at JB Cycle Service. Adam looked at the motorcycle and stated that there was something wrong with the shaft drive. He explained that he would not be able to look at it until Monday or Tuesday of the following week. On Monday, 07/09/2012, I contacted Adam and told him about the extended warranty I had purchased with the motorcycle. I asked him to fax me a diagnosis of the problem, recommended repairs and costs. His diagnosis read, "Rear final Drive shaft teeth worn off causing slipping in rear hub to occur when throttle turned. Cause of problem worn or damaged parts / manufacture defect in parts. Replace all worn parts with new parts $439.79. On 07/10/2012 Adam called the warranty company and the warranty company stated they would not cover worn parts due to normal wear and tear. I asked Adam what he told the warranty company and he stated he read verbatim off the quote he had faxed me earlier. After numerous attempts to contact the warranty company, on 08/08/2012, I contacted the warranty company and they played the taped conversation between the repair facility and the warranty company. Adam stated the parts were worn and when asked what is the cause of the damage, he stated, "They're just worn". I contacted JB Cycle Service and spoke to Cory Black. I explained the problem to him. He said he remembered me and Adam told the warranty company the parts were worn. I told him I had it in writing that the reason for damage was manufacture defect in parts. Cory laughed and hung up on me. I called back and he said how is it his problem.
