Review: I ordered a 6 x 12 piece of indoor/outdoor carpeting from this company. I informed the salesman ([redacted].) that My intent was to place the carpeting on my patio and did not intend to glue it down. When he brought the carpeting he placed it where I wanted it. It had obvious buckles and raised places all over. He assured me that it would flatten out. It has not flattened out and is a safety hazard, i.e. tripping and falling. I called the salesperson and he informed me there was nothing he could or would do about it.Desired Settlement: I believe this carpeting is defective and should be replaced.

Response:
Ms.
[redacted] ordered a 12x6 outdoor carpet. I delivered it to Ms. [redacted]
which is something I don’t usually do. I told her it would need to be
taped down, which is common sense, to hold it in place. Nothing is
magically going to lay flat. If I sell her another piece of carpet it still has to be taped down to lay flat. If she returns the carpet I will refund her money in full to settle the complaint.
Thank you.

Regards,
I was never, ever told to tape the carpet down. In fact, the carpet is on an outside patio - concrete. There's no way to tape carpet to concrete that I know of or that he told me about. I was told the carpet would lie flat after a few hours. When I called and complained, that was changed to "a few days." It has been many, many days now and the carpet is still not lying flat. This person knows that I have no way to return the carpet to him - I'm 76 years old and unable to roll it, or load it into a car, if I even had a car large enough to load it into. As far as I am concerned, I was lied to, was given a piece of carpeting that was flawed and this matter is not resolved.
