Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
In no way has [redacted] resolved the issue. Even after sending this response to this very complaint, he has made no attempt to reach out and refund the payment of $950.
I have asked for a refund of my payment 3 times over the last FIVE MONTHS to [redacted] directly, and - each time - he has only made empty promises to resolve the issue by extending the timeline on my project.
In [redacted]'s response, he states that I am at fault for not handing over the second half of the payment. If there are already discrepancies with [redacted]'s performance after just the down payment, why would I throw another thousand dollars into a failing service?
[redacted] then admits that "the project was a poor fit for crowdfunding, which is also something we should have taken into consideration before accepting the project." This is a clear statement. When given numerous chances to pull away from handling my project, [redacted] should have offered a refund and walked away. Instead, he retained my deposit, continued to string me along, and eventually ignored me and my project.
The only resolution I will accept is a full refund of the $950. I do not want to continue working with [redacted], The Crowdfund Boutique, J&E Creative, or any other affiliated entity.
