It’s Just Lunch regrets to learn of any dissatisfaction the
consumer experienced while he was a member with It’s Just Lunch. Regrettably
his account is now expired due to exceeded hold time. While we have contacted the consumer to
address his concerns he is...
not open to accepting a resolution at this time. We
have offered him as a good faith the remaining dates on his membership agreement
which he has declined. The consumer is not due a refund and has expired per the
terms of his agreement. We hope he will think about our offer further and be
willing to accept as we do hope to end his membership on a positive note. Thank
you.
Review: I signed up with Its Just Lunch on 7/31/13 to have them match me up with local dates in the [redacted] area. They hounded me for weeks to get me to sign up and informed me how this was the perfect thing to do for business professionals. I paid $2500 for a 1 year membership that promised me 10 dates in that year. It took several weeks for them to set me up on the 1st date and when that happened the woman told me that she didn't want to be there as she wants to cancel herself and it lasted 15 min. It then took almost 2 months before I heard anything about a 2nd date. At that time I suspended my membership and then back in December I asked to be reinstated per my contract terms. I did not hear back on a confirmation and sent a 2nd email with no response. Since that moment I met someone outside the service and am very happily involved. I sent my emails to corporate office and they respond saying they just reinstated me this month. They apologized saying that my coach is no longer with the company and they NEVER informed me I had someone new to contact. They state their policy is not to contact anyone while suspended which makes no sense as I had no one else to contact. Their only resolution is to extend my contract 6 months which I DO NOT want and they take no responsibility that they have not fulfilled their contract obligations. I have asked for a reimbursement of my contract fee and they refuse and are very nasty and rude when they speak to you. I wish this company would be shut down for false advertising and also failure to meet their contractual obligations.Desired Settlement: I wish to have my full fee of $2500 reimbursed to me as they have failed on all levels to provide the services they marketed.

Review: Repeated phone calls after I asked to be taken off their call list. They have been contacting me for years.Desired Settlement: Harassment is both a criminal offence and a civil action under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997. This means that someone can be prosecuted in the criminal courts if they harass people. I will take action in the civil courts.
