Complaint: [redacted] Good day Revdex.com and [redacted] Customer Care: Attached please find my response.Sincerely, [redacted] After making many moves over the years with help from friends, family, or professionals, one recognizes mindful, conscientious, and organized assistance Years ago when hiring Bekins, service was efficient and professional, a great moving experience and the reason for choosing Bekins again During the recent move, loading was ‘room by room’ instead of grouping items [as in; all boxes together], but I was not outdoors to observe how furnishings were put into the van Near completion I was told there was difficulty fitting in the remaining furniture so I stepped out to look At the back of the van an oak bench [four legs downward] was sitting atop the dryer and top-loading washer That configuration was unacceptable as damage could result When remaining furniture would not fit into the van, movers had to stop loading and rearrange their packing Perhaps this is when antiques were chaffed and gouged, paint chips off new washer and dryer occurred, recumbent bike damaged and dysfunctional as result, and boxes cut and externally damaged causing interior breakage? In summary: Regarding ITS Global response: Very small household goods is accurate! All household goods [including the leftovers] would have easily fit into the moving van if loading had been organized, my point exactly! Insurance would not have shortened the loading time, proper organization would! I should not be liable to pay extra while disorganized movers rearrange ‘very small household goods’ that were improperly loaded, and I certainly would not have interfered with the delivering process or anything else that would have further delayed the move! Good day  Revdex.com and [redacted] Customer Care:
Attached please find my response.Sincerely,[redacted]

After making many moves over the years with help from friends, family, or professionals, one recognizes mindful, conscientious, and organized assistance.  Years ago when hiring Bekins, service was efficient and professional, a great moving experience and the reason for choosing Bekins again.

During the recent move, loading was ‘room by room’ instead of grouping items [as in; all boxes together], but I was not outdoors to observe how furnishings were put into the van.  Near completion I was told there was difficulty fitting in the remaining furniture so I stepped out to look.  At the back of the van an oak bench [four legs downward] was sitting atop the dryer and top-loading washer.  That configuration was unacceptable as damage could result.

When remaining furniture would not fit into the van, movers had to stop loading and rearrange their packing.  Perhaps this is when antiques were chaffed and gouged, paint chips off new washer and dryer occurred, recumbent bike damaged and dysfunctional as result, and boxes cut and externally damaged causing interior breakage?  The move was only three miles on paved blacktop so one would conclude damages occurred either in loading or unloading.

I don’t question the bid of contents and time the in-home sales consultant estimated [courteous, professional, and positive company representative].  No question seasoned movers could have completed the entire move [including all belongings], in the calculated time.

As a business president, undoubtedly wishing to project a successful, honorable, and highly regarded image, perhaps consider:  Two new recruits  [backing up each other], being questioned by their boss about less-than-acceptable service, in a setting without the customer present, could there be room for improvement and possibly honoring your customers?

In summary:  Regarding ITS Global response:  Very small household goods is accurate!  All household goods [including the leftovers] would have easily fit into the moving van if loading had been organized, my point exactly!  Insurance would not have shortened the loading time, proper organization would!  I should not be liable to pay extra while disorganized movers rearrange ‘very small household goods’ that were improperly loaded, and I certainly would not have interfered with the delivering process or anything else that would have further delayed the move!

Dear Revdex.com,
This claim for damages was actually a result of our customer, [redacted], being upset that her very small local household goods move took our movers one hour longer than our sales consultant estimated it would take, and about $126 over the estimated cost.
[redacted] had an option to insure her...

goods for any accidental damage that may occur during a move. She decided to save the $204 valuation protection expense, which of course is her choice, and so the move went without benefit of insurance.
[redacted] started immediately after her May 25 move, total cost $649.65, to register complaints about the cost with [redacted], headquartered in Indianapolis, IN, and anyone else who would listen. We finally received an actual completed claim form from [redacted] on June 10, which is normal protocol for legitimate moving companies, along with several email complaints about our movers' horrible service. I personally interviewed my two employees involved in the move and determined that the complaints were primarily unfounded and mainly based on the extra hour the customer was charged for, and that that extra time was in part at least because of the customer's constant interfering with the loading and delivering process. Our company claims administrator responded to the claim, in writing, in a timely fashion on June 20. That letter is attached.
We all at ITS Global endeavor always to satisfy every customer, but in the real world that is not always possible.

Sincerely,
Gene D[redacted]
