Review: I hired Attorney [redacted] as a lawyer. The day of my consultation I gave him $500 in cash as a retainers fee, signed a contract and was on my way. No work had yet been done because until the full balance was paid he would not begin working on my case. About two days later I decided I would no longer want his services. I called his secretary and him to inform them of my cancelation. I canceled these services at the end or July and till this day November [redacted] I have not received my refund. In the contract it states that if I were to cancel I would get half of my deposit refunded to me. I have sent certified mail to [redacted] office, made numerous phone calls to his personal cell phone and office, as well as left many voicemails and text messages. When ever [redacted] decides to answer my phone calls he continues to say he will have my refund for me in a week. A week passes and he does not answer my phone calls, when he finally answers he proceeds to tell me to give him another week. This has been on going since August. It has been a little over 3 months since I canceled this attorney and I have not received any refund.Desired Settlement: This attorney did no work for my case and I canceled his services within two days of signing the contract. I will like a FULL refund in cash due to the 3 month delay as well as for all of my troubles.
