weeks ago my husband did receive a call from them and they stated that we would need to pay them more money in order for them to help us settleWe were told thAt they were going to call the creditor and try to negotiate and we would hear from them by the following MondayWe still have not heard from themI still have not received the requested documents

Review: My husband signed up through "[redacted]" to help us consolidate his debt at which point they turned us over to Island Group Partners. Alot of weird things have happened since and we are now facing jail time.
#1 - The service agreement was sent to us via email and according to the guy at Debt Management, he said I was able to sign for it electronically but then a lady will be coming to our house (in WI) to get the hard copies signed and notarized by my husband. The notary DID NOT sign and notarize the documents infront of my husband. I have asked several times (via email and verbally) for the hard copy of the NOTARIZED agreement - I have not received them to this day.
#2 - one of the debt collectors is now sueing us and my husband could be facing jail time because they still have not received any communication from Island Group Partners. Island Group Partners DID NOT direct my husband as to what he needs to do - all they did was acknowledge they received the faxed report of court oder I sent them. I have talked to the original people at [redacted] as they assured me Island Group Partners is working on it - however, our creditor has never heard from them.
#3 - I have asked serveral times to get something from Island Group Partners to give us piece of mind they are ligit. All I ever get is a verbal saying "don't worry about it" - when I talked to them about possible jail time, the rep didn't seem too worried about it either. I asked if my husband should show up - they didn't respond at all. I then called [redacted] people and their response was "either show up to court or don' [redacted] your choice. Everything is being taken care of"
#4 - When calling into Island Group Partners - they do not state who they are so I don't really know if they are a real company or not.
Emails upon emails have been sent to Island Group Partners and [redacted] to address these and all I ever get in return is an automated email stating they've received my email...
These people are taking out a very large sum (over half our monthly gross) every month for what? If no resolution by next months withdrawls (12/**/15) - payment will be stopped immediatetly.Desired Settlement: #1 - copy of notarized signed (by my husband) service agreement sent to me via US/Certified mail ASAP - requested due date : ASAP (prior to12/**/15).
#2 - copies of ALL correspondence to and from Island Group Partners and the creditors in question - requested due date: ASAP (prior to 12/**/15)
#3 - Confirmation call from CEO (or equivalant) from Island Group Partners that our account/case is in process - requested due date - ASAP (prior to 12/**/15)
