Island Auto Mall Reviews (%countItem)

I just purchased a Mercedes G wagon from Carolina the service was awesome, I got the best rate and price by far from the 7 dealers I visited, I would highly recommend you buy all your cars from here A+ service and A+ prices

I would prefer not to give this so called business any stars. False advertising with all their pricing, about 10+ on any priced ad they have on the web. The sales person we had told us upfront, if we finance it would be cheaper price and his company would get a kick back.. I was not comfortable with his explanation to his fees in addition to the price the car was advertised for, certification was $5999, the documentation fee $1999, transfer fee $1500, and Registration fee $500. I might’ve mixed up the names but that was the additional cost. It was a joke!

We have any additional fee's clearly stated on our website. When a potential client is interested in a vehicle, they are given two options. There is a "Buy From Home" OPTION that they can feel free to click on and see there customized payments and fees that the dealership might have, on top of any extended warranty / certification that they might be interested in adding to their vehicle. However, if they do NOT click the Buy from home option they can simply scroll down to the finer print and read our policy.

I would Let know everyone for this dealership is the worst one on New York specially Rashid he makes so many tricks he hides the car on till your sign of the paper. Don’t trust them.

0 Stars. Thieves, SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, low price listing to lure you in and the actual price went $8,000 more. The price they had in my daughter's car was $22,994. At the end, the price went up to $30,884.

SCAM SCAM SCAM
Don’t shop here, any good reviews you’ve seen are probably written by employees . I am writing this to tell you, no matter how good a deal seems here, do not shop here.
Any prices you see online are probably around 60 of what they want you to pay, before tax.
I am a college student looking to make my first car purchase. I drove 2 hours to look at a 15k 2017 bmw 3 series, which is a great deal. I sat down talked about payment options etc. and was ready to buy. When they came back with the numbers on an iPad there was, and no exaggeration, 9 THOUSAND dollars in added fees on top of their price. The price jumped to 24k, before taxes. A 1-3 Thousand fee charge is expected from these used car dealerships, but 9k is an exorbitant number.
I was bewildered. This is a straight up SCAM. They should be out of business for the amount of false advertising that goes on here. Part of their “fees” is a forced warrantee
Don’t want a warrantee? Too bad. It “is already on the car”.
When telling the salesman, John, how this was very unfair to make us drive 2 hours, after confirming the price. He condescendingly told me that it was obvious the price could not be that low, and any buyer should know this. He explicitly stated that they mark the price low to attract buyers. He would not reduce more than 500 USD, an insulting counter offer after a 9,000 price spike. I told him I came in to buy the car at 15k as advertised, not a 24k car, to which he replied “maybe you shouldn’t be looking at BMWs”. When I explained to him that this was unfair advertising, he proudly stated “we own 4 car dealerships if you don’t buy this car someone else will.” No way to treat a customer.
This business needs to be reported to Revdex.com.
Please take your business elsewhere, I cannot imagine the amount of time this scam shop has wasted of innocent shoppers.
Any positive reviews were created by fake accounts and employees, this dealership preys on new buyers who do not know better, or people who are convinced by the lies told by the dealership.
I wonder if they would treat a news crew the same way they treated me.

The worst dealership experiences ever. Called ahead and was told the car I was interested in was in stock. After driving an hour to get to the dealership and waiting for an hour and a half to talk to sales person I was told the car was not available. They showed me a another car that was more expensive plus they REQUIRE you to pay $5k for warranty. Needless to say I walked right out the door.

I have tried contacting this company more than four times since I purchased a car in late March. They have neglected to get a hold of me and send me any type of paperwork. I have already made two payments toward my new car for the months of April and May. My other car which was a trade-in, was sold to them and they are still charging me for the old loan payment, being taken out of my bank every month. The contract clearly states that they paid off that loan for my 2013 Hyundai Elantra. After getting a hold of a customer service representative, twice of the four times I've had contact, I was told they would call me back by the end of the day and they never have. I'm seriously concerned at this point given all of my efforts and nothing in return. I bought a $40,000 vehicle and they haven't reached out to me since the day I left the lot.

Good Morning, The check has been sent out. Unfortunately there was a delay in sending the check out due to the consumer's account number being off by a couple of numbers.

Exhibit 1: ***

Please find Exhibit 2 in attached file.

In the week of 2..20 I was looking online to buy a vehicle; in my research, I found a red sedan with 38K miles. It was a 2016 BMW 328i xDrive From Island Auto Mall in Freeport New York for $13419.
I decided to go to the dealership on 2..20 to see the car and into potentially buying it if the price and vehicle condition were good. I arrived at 10AM and spoke with Sandy S, the salesman who verified the sales tag price was at $13419, and that the car was in stock. I drove the car and after finding some cosmetic issues that they agreed to fix, I asked for a discount. We then started talking about the price, and they said that the car had to be purchased with an additional BMW certified pre owned Warranty for $2,999 and a Dealer Preparation fee for $895.00. Sandy, the sales Manager in charge, and myself agreed that they would fix all the cosmetic issues and that the final sales price (including the warranty) would be $15,750.00, before 6% PA sales Tax and DMV fees. The credit was approved by Santander Bank Consumer USA, and they sent us to seal the deal with the Finance person named Farhan, who seemed to be a very kind family guy with a spouse that was from Colombia, like us (what a coincidence).
He then briefly explained the monthly payments, that would be $397 for the first 12 months and $305 afterwards. While talking about his pregnant “Colombian” wife, Farhan asked me to sign two papers stating that basically included the total finance amount, the dealer processing fees of $37, and the NY inspection and title fees $312. This was about at 9:00 PM. We were basically waiting 12 hours to finalize the purchase. My family (2 kids and my wife) and I were tired, and just wanted to go to our home located in Easton PA – over two hours away. Once we arrived home and looked at the paperwork the following day, we realized that the sales price was not the agreed amount between the Sales Person Sandy Soto, the Manager in charge and myself and therefore and between Sandy and the Finance person Farhan. We (my family and I) noticed that the car’s final sales price was increased by $2,250.
We thought it was a typing mistake that it was going to be easily fixed and adjusted with just a conversation, so we decided to wait and talk in person to the finance guy whose name was Farhan, since we were going back on Saturday 3/7 to have the cosmetic issues fixed. When we arrived and asked Sandy about the error, he told us that Farhan would be able to fix it since that is not what we had agreed upon at all that we were right that the final price was $15,750.00, but the finance guy named Farhan was not this time as charming as the Saturday before. He said that it was a miscommunication error and that the final sales price was $18,000 before taxes fees and that there was basically nothing to correct since I have already signed the papers on 2.. When I asked him to for the original paperwork that Sandy and the Sales Manager filled out stating the final sales price including all additional fees (coming out to a final sales price of $15750 including the warranty) to give Farhan proof that there was no communication issues, they said it was lost. Nobody found it, and we waited about 5 hours for them to look for the paperwork. Farhan said that he saw the paperwork in my file, but for some reason it had disappeared and no one knew how, when, or why it happened. I feel that my good faith has been scammed, and I feel taken advantage of.
1.-With this claim I am asking an adjustment on the loan amount with Santander Consumer USA of $2,389.50 which is the result of difference on the sales price of $2,250 correction and the sale tax adjustment of $139.50.
2- Therefore the final loan amount would be corrected to 16,082 after applying the credit for the correction of $2,389.50.
3- Before finalizing the purchase Farhan the Finance person added all weather floor mats to the sale; he appeared to process the order online in front of us by going on a website and verifying our home address, but they were supposedly never ordered since as of today it has not yet been delivered - a complete scam of my good faith. With this claim, I want to add that those four Weathertech floor mats be delivered to my house as promised.
2-I want to state that I made a $1,000.00 down payment.
Attached is a screenshot of the sales listing of the car, with the 134*** sales price. I want to point out that the VINs are also different. The VIN showing in the sales listing is different than the VIN that is on my paperwork, however, it is the “same” car because the cosmetic issues that are on the sales listing’s picture are the same ones that my car has, and it was the only red BMW at the dealership. This is the only proof that I have to state that my claim is valid. Also, when I told them about to different VINs, they brushed it off and failed to elaborate.
