Isam Auto Sales

My daughter and I test drove one of his vehicle that was for sale for $4250. We liked the car, so we gave him $200 to hold the car and for him not to show to anybody else. he gave us a receipt for the $200 that night and I still have it. The next night we returned to his office to sign the contract. He put an additional $250 on top of the sale price of the car which is now $4500. I asked why the increase in the sale price. He said *** is charging him $250 to use their service. I told him, if they are charging him $250, he has to eat it up and not add it to my sale price. I was upset, so we walked away from the contract and did not sign. The next day I went back to the office to get my $200 and he refused to give it to me. he said since *** already stamped his pink slip, it's not good anymore. I don't think i'm responsible for *** stamping his pink slip when the contract was never fully executed or the loan was not completed at the bank. I do not owe him anything for jumping the gun and getting the pink slip signed before the loan was completed.
