I was having trouble with *** on July 7, 2018. Called the tech support number provided. Got through to someone who said I had trojans, etc. on my computer in spite of having *** installed. Offered a 3 year plan for $299.99, or a lifetime play for $499.99. I went with the 3 year plan.

I recently got calls from the same company that I needed to call them to upgrade my *** account as part of my coverage. I called their number on Saturday.

A text file was open on my desktop, *** SUPPORT.txt. Whoever it was on the other end deleted the text that I had a 3 year protection plan, then closed the file. He then proceeded to tell me that I needed a 3 year protection plan for $299.99 or a lifetime for $749.99.

I explained to him that it was not even a year since I paid them $300 and wondered why I was asked pay more when I should still be under protection. Again, I was told that I had trojans, etc.

This doesn't sound good. I am going to follow up with *** and ask them why they are contracting with these people to do their tech support, as it sounds very much like they are trying to scam *** customers.
