Review: The power button on my [redacted] went out, on January 19th, 2014. I did some research online and found a repair store called "[redacted]" located on [redacted]. Postal code [redacted]. I went into [redacted] on January 21st at 3:47PM, and paid a total of $40.00 to get my power button fixed on my [redacted], as it reads on my original receipt. The operational manager of this location goes by the name of [redacted]. Another man in the back room, was actually doing the repair. I waited 20 minutes to get my power button fixed on my phone, drove all the way back to my residence on [redacted], in [redacted]. When I got home, the earpiece of my [redacted] was completely destroyed and disconnected. I called up [redacted], and explained my problem. He was so sure that his engineer did not make the mistake. I drove all the way back to [redacted] (14 mile drive there and back), just to get my earpiece reconnected. It was a huge inconvenience for me. They took another look at the phone, and claimed that they have fixed the "issue". So, taking their word, I went back home. This time, both my front facing and rear facing camera, stopped working completely. I again, contacted [redacted] to express my problem. I also mentioned to him that these problems never occurred until they worked on my phone. I once again, drove another 14 miles to the store for the 3rd time. Software and hardware were working perfectly before they tampered with my [redacted], might I add. Now, my phone's cameras are not working, and now my phone runs so hot, that I burnt my ear and lip. The battery drains in a disappointing 25 minutes. I paid [redacted] $40.00 to break my phone. I have pictures, text messages, and proof. Yesterday February 1st, at 12:10 PM, I tried contacting [redacted] 3 times, via text message and no response. I am extremely livid, For I have been wronged. I absolutely had no hardware issues with the phone prior to dropping it off, besides the power button.Desired Settlement: We paid $40.00 as it says on my receipt to get the home button fixed. Instead, we have a overheating phone that has burnt my face, 2 broken cameras, an unresponsive phone, and overall mess. I would like my $40.00 back, and for my phone to replaced. The total cost of the [redacted] was $200.
