Review: This is my second submission because I don't know if the first one went through.The clerk at one of their garages pulled a bait & switch on me when I parked there on Oct 15. Is this a regular practice of theirs? I was only in downtown for a half hour, but was told I was there for TWO hours!! I checked my ticket BEFORE I left the Forbes Ave/Cherry Way garage & the time on my ticket was PRECISELY 11:22 AM. When I returned around 11:48, the counter already said "$12.00". THIS is what I was charged instead of the half hour rate of $6. When I asked how this was possible, he said I was there since 10:07. He argued with me when I said this was impossible! As he removed the ticket from the machine, there was a SECOND ticket in his hand (My REAL ticket!) As he handed me the incorrect ticket, he laid the second ticket aside. The time on that ticket?? - 11:22 AM!! I pointed at it & said "THAT is my ticket" to which he replied "no it isn't!". I asked for the manager, who defended him - "Why would he do that?" - DUH! Why does ANYBODY pull a bait & switch? Manager decided (without any proof) it was my ticket - I was home in bed at 10 AM!! I of course had no proof since the clerk switched tickets. I asked him to check the cameras. (they had MANY cameras that would have proved when I arrived) He refused.Attached is a photo of a file I downloaded to my computer AT HOME at 10:42 that day - it's TIME STAMPED!Desired Settlement: $6 may not seem like much, but for someone like me who doesn't have much to begin with, it's a LOT! I wonder how many unsuspecting people they pull this on each day!
