International Monument

I contracted with International monument in 2013 to provide a headstone for my father's grave in [redacted]. He has not as of 9/11/14 placed the stone. The contract was made in Sept. 2013, the sum of $400+ was paid at the time of the contract. Mr. [redacted] sent via e-mail a design of the headstone which was agreed to be suitable on 10/26/13. In a follow up tel. conversation on or about 10/30/13. He stated he would place the headstone in a few days. Since that time he changed his telephone and I was not able to speak with him. I returned to [redacted], on 9/7/14 to find that the headstone had not been placed. I tracked him to [redacted], Ms. and a new telephone number. Between 9/7/14 and 9/11/14 he stated he would place he stone each of the 4 days but to date(9/11/14), He as not placed the stone and He has not responded to my phone calls to his number as of 9/11/14. I am filing this complaint without benefit of the paperwork as I did not expect to complete this form. I will gladly provide specific details and or copies of the cancelled check upon my return to Rochester, if needed.Desired SettlementI would like to have the stone put in place by the end of Sept. 2014 with proof or a refund of the money I paid to him. If I have to return to the area I would like the expense for the trip to covered by Mr. [redacted] the business owner.
