Review: Ordered online training for the Certified Risk Compliance Management Professional exam 4 months ago. I have since discovered that this company goes by other names and websites such as crcmp.net, http://www.slideshare.net/GeorgeLekatis/certified-risk-and-compliance-management...⇄ http://www.compliance-officer.org/ComplianceCertification.html, http://www.risk-management-certification.com, and http://www.risk-jobs.com. I paid $297 for training and three exam tries via Paypal on my credit card. I received the files 48 hours later. However now that I am ready to take the exams I have followed the contact instruction to email Lyn Spooner per http://www.risk-compliance-association.com/CRCMP_Certification_Steps_1.pdf to get the username and password. I have emailed three separate times with no response. I have also called the number listed for headquarters, [redacted] and gotten nothing but a beep and cutoff when trying to use the company directory. I also called the number for the International Association of Risk Compliance Professionals (IARCP), which apparently runs the training, at [redacted] and had the same issue. I also attempted to email the IARCP president, [redacted], also with no response. I feel that I have been ripped off by a scam. It should be noted that the many websites for the certification that this company uses all require my full name, email and home address in my contact email for the exa, username and password "so they know where to send your certificate." With no response from repeated contact attempts despite following instructions, I am now concerned about ID theft as well.Desired Settlement: Refund of purchase price for non-delivery of exam materials as promised despite numerous contact attempts.
Do you recommend take the certification?
It's not a scam, I had no problems with getting mine set up. Have you added George Lekatis to your Linked In profile? He's on Linked In and I've gotten a hold of him on there for a question in which he answered. See if that helps you.
