They got us with a low rate and lower than average closing fees. Initially, we were supposed to close within 30 days, which was pushed back to 45. We finally closed on day 53. Along the way closing fees increased due to Interfirst no longer offering a credit towards closing fees. Their explanation, "we went past the deadline for the credit, my processing team took longer than expected." Addirionally, we did not receive updates unless we hounded them. The cherry on top is that our homestead exemption was left off.
