We spoke with customer and sent someone out to look at the issue The housing for the antenna is recessed into the fender and not near where the windshield replacement took place The installer states that the housing was already damaged when he arrived Normally we notate damage near work site on our copy of the invoice and have the customer sign off but because this was not near where install took place on the vehicle, our installer did not notate it on the invoice We would have no issue with replacing this part if it was a fault of ours Our installer is adament that this was damaged prior to him installing glass and with the placement of the housing being recessed in fender it would be hard for him to damage while installing glass We must stand behind our employee
