On 3/18/16 I sold a 2006 Ford Escape to [redacted]. She put $900 down as a down payment on the Escape and an additional $100 for a 3 month/4500 miles whichever comes first from date of purchase limited power train warranty with Cars Protection Plus. On 4/12/16 [redacted] came into the office with I...
believe was her daughter. [redacted] had several concerns. She had a paper that she had received from [redacted] saying that her loan was denied. Do to the fact that there was a period of time from which [redacted] applied for a loan and actually bought the vehicle on the 18th the lender along with all lenders are legally required to send out this letter. [redacted] also had her payment book with her that she received from [redacted]. I pulled up on my computer to show her that she does in fact have a loan with [redacted]. I also contacted my sales manager with [redacted] while she was here and he to explained the reason behind the letter and that she could disregard it and throw it away. I told her that she could throw it away OR keep it for her records whatever she wanted to do it was up to her but that she didn't need to worry about it because she does infact have a loan with [redacted]. [redacted] also said there was an issue at the DMV with the title that she went to the DMV and they wouldn't accept it. I didn't understand why so I immeditley called the local DMV about it while [redacted] was here. I then found out it was actually on 4/7/16 that she went to the DMV. After speaking with the DMV they said to send her back out there. [redacted] and her daughter left here and went to the DMV. Several hours had passed and I had not heard anything so I called [redacted] to see what the DMV had to say and she said everything was fine and that I didn't need to do anything. I said well that's good news and that if she had any other problems or concerns to not hesitate to give me a call or stop by. I then today 4/15/16 received this letter from Revdex.com. [redacted] never mentioned 1 time about being unhappy with the vehicle or anything about returning it and getting her money back. I do not feel that is something we should have to do since we have done nothing wrong and there is an obvious misunderstanding on her part. In response to the loan amount in her complaint the $5,847, is the amount that she borrowed the paper that shows the amount of $10,729.92 is her principal amount plus interest (total in payments) plus her $900 down that at the end of the loan what she will have totally vested in the vehicle. I have tried to call [redacted] to explain this and give her a number to call [redacted] so that she can understand what is going on but have yet to hear back from her. I feel that Integrity Auto Center has gone above and beyond to help [redacted] and there seems to just be lacking of or misunderstanding of communication.
