Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
Mike is presenting false data. After speaking with Expedia, the terms of the contract that Barsala presented them gives them a 3 day way to clear payment. They attempted to charge my card 8 days after I had authorized payment, which may have resulted in it being declined. As pictured in the attached file, which shows the date their system created my account and the subsequent single charge attempt.
Mike claims that he tried to reach me over the phone for the period of 3 weeks. I have never received a call from them and have no voice mails from him or his company regarding the failed payment. My email was attached to the reservation form and he was successful in emailing me when the cancellation notice came through.
The After Hours emergency number that he says I contacted was the number posted as the contact number on the Expedia website. Also I did not contact them "after hours", I called them during normal business hours. He emailed me with the cancellation notice at 5:15pm, I immediately called the number listed on Expedia and have call logs and email timestamps showing the time of the interaction with his representative.
Again I would like to stress that Mike claims he tried to reach me over the course of 3 weeks by PHONE when he was able to successfully contact me by EMAIL but only to notify me of cancellation. In the attached picture that he sent me, it shows my account name is created under my email address. What type of business would not attempt to use the easiest and most accepted method of contact to attempt to resolve a problem? That he let the situation stagnate for 3 weeks is unreal. He jumps to conclusions and attempts to rationalize his behavior based on "fraud suspicion".
At no time did I become aggressive or attempt to threaten any of his employees. I gave him ample opportunity to make things right and to contact me but he refused. In which I responded that he was forcing me to leave him a negative review.
I do not accept his response as anything more but pathetic attempts to cover his tracks.
Sincerely,[redacted]
