I am rejecting this response because:
As noted in the cancellation form, we do not agree that the security deposit should be kept by the New Jersey Short term rental policy. Because the product was a scam. The furnished apartment was supposed to have been cleaned...

professionally  ,with everything ready,& have a queen size bed in one of the bedrooms. It was not. Upon arrival. Carpet smelled it didn't looked cleaned at all, the kitchen utensils had food stuck on them as well as the drawers, the knobs to turn light on were brown with grime stuck on them and there was no queen size bed! The second bedroom had a bed smell, we think the linens were dirty as well. This was clearly not what we had agreed upon when we signed the contract. They didn't do their end of that contract.
As a proof that is a scam the rental company called NJSTR publishes in emails to have an office in Suite . When we went to the alleged office found out that the ofice is a mail box.The agent to discuss the matter did not show up either.
