Purchased a "fully tested" *** mini which turned out to produce hardware error. Wasted $50 on "restocking fee" when returning.
While claiming "fully tested" they have no idea what *** Hardware Test is. Yes, they have 15-day return policy, but small print says there's 20% restocking fee which I wasted. Other options were:
a) store credit (why would one need a credit in a store that sells faulty hardware claiming it to be "fully tested"?)
b) repairing "fully tested" item (how they can even do that assuming they are even unable to test it properly?)
c) upgrading to a more expensive model (trust is broken already, no way!)
Hope my experience learned hard way will help someone.
We understand that customer will upset when the product they bought has problem. We will try our best to solve the problem. We run some tests for all used computers we sell to make sure the computer is in working condition.
Alex bought a used, 8 years old (2011) *** Mini. He said that the fan in computer make noise after 30 minutes running. We did not see this problem during our test. For any problem, we will fix or resolve the problem for the customer if they gave us some time, maybe few hours or next day. He refused us to repair it or store credit. He just wants to return the computer. I have no choice to charge him the 20% restocking charge.
Our invoice states that "No Cash Refund. Credit Only within 7 days. 20% restocking fee applied for all returns on approval. Absolutely No Refund or Exchange on software and Blank Media."
If he gave me some time, we can repair it or exchange another computer for him.
