Complaint- I signed up for a class scheduled for June. I had to pay up front. I was contacted by Mr. [redacted] via email that the class had been moved up to May. I agreed I would attend. Two days later I was hired by a security company that trains me themselves rather than expecting me to get certification on my own.- I informed Mr. [redacted] that I would no longer require his class and asked for a refund. No replies from Mr. [redacted] for 2 weeks now.- No physical address for his "school". Classes are conducted at the [redacted]. He has a PO Box in Chapel Hill for you to send payments.Product_Or_Service: Unarmed Security Officer TrainingOrder_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like a refund of my payment of $100 on 05/07/2015 for services I never received and no longer need.Business Response On May 6th, Mr. [redacted] registered and paid $100 for the [redacted] class scheduled on May 27th - 28th. Mr. [redacted] used [redacted] to submit his payment. Mr. [redacted] notified Inline Defense by email on May 22nd requesting to reschedule to the July class. On May 27th 2015, Mr. [redacted] notified Inline Defense by email to refund his money because he would not be attending the class in July. On May 28th, A request through [redacted] for Mr. [redacted]'s refund was submitted. [redacted] usually has the refund payment back to the buyer within 3-4days. We have submitted another request through [redacted] to refund Mr. [redacted]'s money. I have notified Mr. [redacted] to contact us if he doesn't receive the refund by June 19th 2015. Mr. [redacted] could have called us before filing a complaint. We are more than happy to issue a refund if warranted. It would have been a matter of contacting [redacted] to resolve this issue. Thank you. Consumer Response I received the refund via [redacted] on 6/16. Many thanks to Mr. [redacted] with InLine Defense. Several emails to his personal email address went unanswered so it did not make sense to take time out of my work day to call directly. This may be an indication that the programs at InLine Defense are very successful and the staff are very busy so I am still looking forward to doing business with InLine Defense in the future.Final Consumer Response
