The customer placed an order online from a foreign country (UAE) for items of small value ($30.22). The standard shipping of $12.95 was auto-charged Although we reserve the right to modify this rate, we opted to absorb the cost of $17.54 charged by the US postal Service (USPS)....
Typical of our excellent service we shipped the order on the same day.The delivery delay indicated on our website is typical (not guaranteed) for most international destinations. However, we do not control the USPS nor any other international postal service. If a customer is worried about the safety of their international shipment or if the value of the shipment is sufficient to justify much higher costs, we will recommend to use a tracked product from USPS a courier service like UPS. These services are guaranteed by the carrier, not by us. We can only guarantee a fast shipment. Our customers package was packed by Oct 7th 8:08 AM EST and scanned at the post office by 12:35PM that same day. We have perfectly fulfilled our obligation. The scan performed in Jamaica, NY on Oct 8th at 9:07AM indicates that the parcel was in transit, which means the package was in an air freight container for shipment overseas. Therefore, the USPS has also performed their duties within the required time delays. Unfortunately, no other scans are available since they are customs scans and not tracking numbers. Therefore, there is no way to know if the package is delayed, delivered or lost. It has been our experience that delivery delays oversea can be extremely long due to customs and other delays. Therefore, we ask the customer for patience.Once we have fulfilled our obligations we no longer have any legal responsibility. We guaranty shipment not receipt. That is out of our control. Customers must pay for delivery confirmation overseas and this case the cost would have been too high. That said, our policy is very clear, even though we cannot accept responsibility, we always offer replacement or refund options. The last communication we found for this customer was dated Nov 5th where he said he would wait a few more weeks. If the customer sends an email requesting a refund or replacement, it shall be respected.Our reputation online is very well known. We have the highest standards of customer service. If the customer can provide some proof that his emails were ignored, we would be most pleased to investigate the situation to determine why we did not receive or respond to an email. We have reviewed the emails from this customer and our customer service dept and found all parties acted professionally and respectfully. Therefore, there is absolutely no reason for this dispute to exist. Please have the customer contact our customer service once again at [email protected]. The customer can copy "management" at [redacted].
