I purchased my car from another dealership. I decided to take my car to to this dealership for its first oil change and tire rotation since purchasing, because it was close to home and convenient. The initial experience was fine. After starting my car after I left, I was still presented with the warning notification that I needed and oil change and my tires rotated. I figured this is something they would turn off when servicing. A day goes by and I am getting gas and I notice all these circular scratches all over on my vehicle. At first I was sort of stumped until I realized that it had just been complentrary washed at the dealership. I then contacted the service department and spoke with the manager we made an appointment for me to come down and have it looked at. Upon arrival they could also see the scratches and they took my vehicle back and “buffed” out areas of the vehicle but not the whole thing. They were concerned because they didn’t know could have happened to the vehicle within the two days since I had the oil changed. NowI am left with a new vehicle that has scratches all over the body and looks tarnished.
To whom it may concern,
this customers car was not purchased here, we preformed and oil change and then cleaned the car inside and out like we do for all of our service customers. on average we wash over 50 vehicles and have no issues. in this case my service manager Had the areas of concern waxed and on the car as an act of goodwill. Not sure what else we can do to help them on this.I would suggest that the customer take it to the Dealer that they purchased the car from if there is an issue moving forward.

I am rejecting this response because: The damage made to my vehicle was by This dealership, thru a service they provide whether or not the vehicle was purchased there. The dealership it was purchased at has nothing to do with bad service I received.

I am sorry that the customer isn't satisfied. however we strongly disagree on causing any damage to this car. we have video of the car arriving at our dealership, as well as throughout the whole process. Being washed ,vacuumed ETC. and the process was not any different with their vehicle than any other car that was cleaned that day. However as an act of goodwill I would offer a full exterior wax and buff at no charge to the customer. If they elect to do so have them call and speak with my service manager Nathan P to schedule an appointment.

I am rejecting this response because: I already came to your business to correct the mistake, the response I am now getting is what I should have received the first time. At this point my business with Infiniti of Fife is over, I will not bring my vehicle back to this dealership. I would prefer to have a professional handle my vehicle.
