Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because according to factory specifications, it is required to remove the headlight assembly to properly replace the bulbsThe vehicle was not presenting the leaking/condensation issue until immediately following the "repair." Based on the immediate explosive response of the shop manager, it is quite apparent he knew that a mistake had been made when I originally called to ask for them to look at the lightAdditionally, following my initial report to the Revdex.com, the shop manager physically SHOVED my husband in the back after yelling and swearing at him to get out of "his shop." I find the owner's lack of comment on the manager's complete unprofessionalism to be very irresponsibleI have witnesses who saw the physical contact by the manager against my husbandIt is very apparent that the business owner lacks basic business acumen or integrity if he is unwilling to stand behind their repairs and address the hostile actions of the shop managerSincerely,*** ***
As stated on the complaint by the customer, we replaced the bulbs, provided by the customer, not the headlight assembly. This is a very simple task which does not in any way require the headlight assembly to be takenapart or even moved. Yousimply unplug the old bulb and twist it out then twist the new...
one in. It is tight reaching in there todo this but it is the preferredway of most all experienced mechanics. It is most always easier to access from the back if at allpossible. You could remove the headlight assembly but it would take an hour plus per side. We try tosave our customers money wheneverwe can. We were able to replace those bulbs for a half hours billing. We are sorry for their problem, however, because of the way we replaced their bulbs, in no waycould wehave caused the headlight assembly to leak. Two very common causes of this problem are automatic carwashes and pressure washers. We value our customers and would never want anyone to be dissatisfied, again we are sorry fortheir misfortune.Thank you,Sincerely,
