Can we do negative stars? My daughter has been trying to get her deposit back for 8 months now. According to April and Jessica, 'paperwork' needs to be filled out. We gave them 5 different email addresses, and 3 different residential addresses and nothing has ever been received. My daughter went to physically pick up the paperwork twice and was told 'it must be mailed.' She has tried to contact them via phone, they no longer answer her number. My husband has tried to contact them via phone, they no longer answer his number. Her roommate has tried to contact them via phone, they no longer answer her number. When we requested the corporate number, they have refused to give it to us. I have found 3 others on FB that have the same issue. Now I see that the gentleman on here is having the same problem. Seems to be a trend. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! Notice that this complex is NOT part of the Revdex.com? Why do you suppose that is?
If no stars could be given, I would. I was there for a short two months due to moving and need a place to stay in between places. I was told when signing the lease I would get my deposit back. I was even asked for an address for mailing my deposit to after moving out. Still waiting for my deposit. The apartment is over priced and dated for what you get. I've made multiple phone calls and have not received one back in regards to my deposit. If you're looking for something long term in the Anniston/Oxford area, there are better choices. I could not properly use all of the cabinets due to the warped shelving, the exhaust fans didn't work. The water tank only gave out about 7 minutes of hot water before turning cold. I had to clean the carpet several times due to the moldy odor present when I moved in. The walls are super thin. The blinds in my unit were all damaged. Don't expect a great deal because there isn't one to be found here.
We have sent this resident their claim letter, only paint and cleaning fees were taken out. Letter was sent on 11/23 and we received no response.
I haven't received any "claim letter". I'm not sure how paint and cleaning fees would need to be taken out. I was there for two months and nothing was ever hung on the walls or anything done to the walls. As for cleaning, I'm not sure what would need to be cleaned either. I cleaned on a regular basis and left it in better shape than I found it. Cleaning the carpets four different times. Not sure why I would receive a claim letter on 11/23 when I moved out on November 30. When I talked to Jessica the following week, she asked for my address to send my deposit check to. No talk about having to deduct for paint or cleaning. My calls have not been returned from Jessica.
