I had a worse experience than Brice above. I paid Jay Motley $3500 to replace some outdoor lighting. 3 months later a no show. The tree lights he put in and charged me for don’t work. His wife also lies for him. I suggest you run as fast as you can from this joke of a company

President, Impressions Design Group, ***, was paid $4300.00 in two installments on September 7, 2018 ($3000) and September 25 ($1300) for outdoor lighting in the front and rear of our property, ***., Houston, TX *** The contracts are attached. As one can see within the attached contract, Mr. provided a warranty for underground electrical (1 year), fixtures/transformers (2 years) and LED fixtures/lamps (5 years).

On September 5, 2019, I advised the timing of the lights was no longer working properly. Over the next two months a number of communications were exchanged. Mr. switched out the timer and he would paid $40 as a convenience fee. However, the new timer, upon inspection failed to work which I shared with Mr.. The last communication we received from Mr. said he was stumped by the issue and after I suggested he try another timer to look into other causes of the problem, he discontinued contact. I left several voicemails on his cell phone, made additional phone calls, texts, etc. to no avail.

Despite being paid $4300 a year earlier, Mr. failed to remedy a big issue to us (as the lights would not come on until after several hours of darkness), which in effect rendered the security lighting ineffective. I had to hire another contractor to resolve the timer issue at my own expense. As a result, we are requesting Mr. to return $400 (our cost to resolve the timer issue).
