Import Sound Tuning

Review: Purchased a faceplate radio and had it installed by business. Was never given the box or the manufacter warranty. The brackets on the unit broke and I was told by Pioneer that it could be looked at with proof of purchase. I misplaced the receipt and when I requested a duplicate copy from Import he refused. He initially said that he doesn't keep the receipts on-site that his Accountant was in the City. He said to give him Pioneers fax number and date of purchase and he would have the Accountant look it up and fax it. When I called back with the information he requested he acted as if he didn't understand English. He spoke perfect English when I purchased this and when I requested the receipt. I had a friend translate for me informing him that I would contact Revdex.com. His response "you will spend more time doing that than what the radio is worth"Desired Settlement: I would like a duplicate copy of the receipt. He didn't deny that the radio was purchased from him. Even if his Accountant is out of town he can easily print out a new receipt. We aren't asking him to repair it but we are entitled to use of our Manufacturer warranty.

I see she found the date of the purchase on the consumer complaint I received, so I will get in contact with my accountant and tell her to pull up the receipts from that week. All the complainant needs to do is give me a call or email me in a couple of days to come pick it up.
