The response was true that their insurance was looking into it, but the insurance company said they don't have insurance to cover faulty work or work at his hands. I also checked the Secretary of State's website and the don't even have the proper registration to operate in Illinois. This is still open and I will be filing a lawsuit next week and filing a complaint with Illinois Attorney General if not resolved immediately!

Import did get the car back a second time after it wasn't repair correctly the first time. They towed the car from the current facility to correct the faulty repair. The insurance letter could determine that it was Imports fault and said their insurance doesn't cover faulty work. The car had to be taken apart to discover the extent of the damage Import caused. It wasn't repaired or worked on by another facility. They took visual documentation while they took it apart, so there was no question who caused the damage. Import Autowerks ruined the engine on my car.

How could we determine the work was faulty if she never brought the vehicle back and instead opted to have it taken apart at another facility. The insurance could not determine the damage was done here since she took it to that other facility and had it worked on. It was difficult for the insurance to investigate her claims when the car had been also taken apart somewhere else.
