Where do I start with this complaint.....
So I test drove a car and advised that it needed new brakes. I was told they would fix the brakes and it would be no problem. A few days later I went to pick up the vehicle and as I left the check engine light immediately came on. The brakes were never fixed so the dealer advised for me to drop off vehicle and they would send to the mechanic to fix.
Well they did follow through with that, but however they never advised the mechanic to fix my brakes. In the mean time I had to call and ask where my vehicle was to get something out of it. So, I did that and called the mechanic, which he advised me himself that the dealer never told him to fix the brakes or even check them.
Three days later the dealer advised me my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I told them that I spoke directly with the mechanic and that they never had the brakes fixed. The owner was furious that I knew what body shop they used and that I spoke directly to the mechanic. When I went to pick up the vehicle I was advised they don't look at brakes or work on brakes at all.
Well no kidding the dealer doesn't, but they didn't follow through with fixing the brakes as I requested the day I test drove the car. They also took a couple thousand down and never reported it on the loan that was taken so I just lost that money and it wasn't reported to the financial company so my loan amount would be decreased.
Oh, and to top it off they fired an employee for supposedly telling me what mechanic shop my vehicle was at, which they had to tell me as I had to go get something out of my vehicle while it was there.
I just felt awful for the employee who got fired all because he told me where my vehicle was located so I could get my house keys out of the vehicle. Now what company would discharge and employee for doing something like that???
Only could be one that is a scam!!!
