Product was horrible and did not stand by their guarantee- Product lasted 50% the length of regular wood mulch when they claim the product lasts for years- STAY AWAY
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Good evening, in response to IMC of outdoor Living, we are not satisfied with their commentsWe might not have been the first owner of the house but we are the first family that resides in the houseWe all agree that the deck was built with pressure treated wood that should have lasted twenty years and more outdoorIMC mentioned about water pooling to justify the rot, but as the pictures indicated the deck is on the second level and each deck lathe has a space between them"ALL WOOD DECKS ARE BUILT SIMILAR WITH A SPACE BETWEEN EACH LATHEMy question is how could pooling occur? Gutter or not a deck suppose to last twenty years Sincerely, [redacted]
Disappointed! I contacted IMC regarding the NuPlay Rubber Mulch I had purchased two years ago because I was noticing that the color of my rubber mulch appeared to be fading.
One of the deciding factors for purchasing the rubber mulch was the 12 year "color fade guarantee" that was on each bag. After many years of shoveling yards of wood mulch and having to re-apply a top coat every 2-3 years to keep the color looking fresh, this was definitely a positive factor for influencing my decision to purchase this product.
Cleaning up my flower beds made me realize how faded this mulch looked after such a short time, but I couldn't be sure if it was or not, so I went an bought a new bag of the rubber mulch for comparison before I contacted IMC.
I contacted IMC and they asked me to send in copies of my receipts, send pictures, and a baggie of the faded rubber mulch. After receiving my mulch, they said it would not qualify for a warranty claim.
As you can guess, the "fade guarantee" has some fine print to it and I was told it only covers a "complete loss of color". As I explained to the Manager, the wording on the bag is very misleading and should be changed to "guaranteed against a complete loss of color" and that some fading may occur. This would help the consumer to have a better understanding and can make the decision to purchase this product with factual, not misleading information.
I sure don't recall seeing any fine print on the bag disclosing it has to lose 100% of it's color within 12 years when I purchase almost $550 worth of rubber mulch for my yard.
To me, the general consumer, a fade guarantee means just that - it won't fade (for 12 years). Unfortunately, I recommended this product to other people and cannot say that I will be saying anything positive about this product in the future.
The cost per bag vs wood mulch just isn't worth it if they are not going to stand behind their product. For $550 I can do over 15 yards of mulch and it will last me about the same amount of time, if not longer.

We purchased rubber pavers from *** in Conyers Ga. Telephone number ***.They were manufactured by Fabricado. So we got the pavers installed on our deck. One day while shopping around at the store we heard another consumer complaining about these very same pavers so we went and checked our floor and saw that they had rotted our deck floor. Our house is relatively new we are the first owners of this house. Myself or my husband could have fallen through the floor had we not notice this. If we had known that the pavers were not good for wooden floors-decks we would not have bought them. On the label of the pavers it stated that the pavers are good for patios, decks and floors. We took the pavers back to *** and we got a refund for them. But when we spoke to the manufacturers about the damage the pavers had done to our deck, they became nasty and was very unwilling to work with us. Each time I look at the deck I get upset.
